Vamos Argentina

So it turns out there aren´t any classes Friday due to a group trip to Isla Negra to see one of Pablo Neruda´s houses. Fortunately I´ve already learned my lesson when it comes to group trips, and Andrea, Theresa and I are skipping town for Mendoza tomorrow night at 10:30 instead of Friday afternoon. Chile figured it out right when it comes to long distance bus rides, we leave late at night and arrive early in the morning without having paid for a nights sleep or anything, it works out pretty well. Now alls I needs is a sleeping bag and some pisco for the bus ride and I´m set.
Shakira plays here on March 8th, man this city is going to go wild that night. Originally Vince and I were gonna get front row seats and throw roses at her after the show but I think Vince is gonna flake out on me. I´ll still be up there, I´m not afraid. Mana plays soon too for the Viña del Mar music festival, that ought to be fun.
Right now I´m torn between going to Bolivia or heading south during my week off in March. If I go south I can fly down to Punta Arenas, do some trekking through Torres del Paine, and explore a bunch of Tierra del Fuego before flying back, all for a whole lot cheaper than that retarded group trip would cost me. Right now I´m leaning towards Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, but that may just be because it´s been pushing 95 degrees here during the day lately. I miss the cold.
Cool, off to find a sleeping bag, probably won´t update this piece again until I get back on Sunday or Monday.
